The 5 Freshest scents for a man – says a woman

I was out with friends recently, and there was a man I noticed that walked by. Nothing special. Just your very average looking man, with that look they all have when they are trying to think of something clever to say to woo you. The thing is, his lack of Fresh is not what got me to notice him. It was his scent. As he walked away from my disinterested smile his scent lingered, and enticed me. My mind wondered how was it that this sub-par man instantly had me interested. I had to know what he was wearing. Once I found out, I got an idea to take it to Facebook. I asked all of my female friends what fragrances they most like on a man. Some named some ridiculous scents that were quite un-Fresh but some where on to something. I decided to write about what I and other females alike love to smell on a man. The top fragrance that was mentioned on Facebook became my fan favorite. Here it goes:

5. Gucci Homme

Gucci is known for all things glamorous. They did not disappoint when it came to their cologne. This scent is luxurious. It mixes well with a man’s natural scent to create a woman catcher (lol). Ladies are definitely going to think this smell is familiar so just be ready to pounce on the question: What are you wearing?

4. Carolina Herrera 212 for Men

I love 212 for women so when Carolina extended her greatness to men, I knew that it had to smell magnificent. This scent is just as light at the line for women. This means when it’s on you we have to come in closer to get a good whiff (which is a good thing for you). Lets face it, what man does not want a lady to come in close and never leave!

3. Dolce and Gabbana The One

I was roaming around Sephora looking for a scent to by a guy I was dating at the time and saw Dolce and Gabbana’s ad for The One featuring Matthew McConaughey. Sexy. Now we all know that Matt does not shower (lol), so for Dolce and Gabbana to not only get him to shower but to promote their cologne it must smell good. And it did! This scent is not only long lasting but it does something to a man’s pheromones that makes us go nuts.

2. Yves Saint Laurent L’Homme

Oh Yves…It is sad that you passed away last year, but you left us with one amazing scent. If only you came out in 1759 you would have so been number one. I was out a few weeks ago and one of my longtime friends was wearing this scent. He smelled so amazing that I almost forgot we were friends. This scent will definitely help you land a lady….if not for a lifetime at least for the night. Just Kidding LOL!

1. Creed Millesime Imperial

Our number one pick is the panty dropper (from what I’ve been told). Creed is intriguing to women and we don’t even know why. It makes us want to not only smell you, but know more about you. For all you Sean John Unforgivable lovers out there, this is where Puffy (or whatever name he is going by these days) ripped off the scent. Not Fresh. Creed is the world's only dynastic, luxury fragrance company. It was founded in 1760 and has served more than 10 royal houses for 250 years. It is also one of the 100 oldest family businesses in the world. Oh, one other thing. All of the fragrances are hand picked, hand produced, and all natural. That alone is so fresh.

After tallying all of the colognes my friends loved to smell on a man, a fan favorite appeared:

Kenneth Cole Black

While it did not make our top 5 it is still a contender. It may not have the history of Creed, or the celebrity of Dolce & Gabbana, but it can still hold its own. The smell definitely fits well with Kenneth’s brand…you will be talking about it.

This is so right on time! I was just talking to some of my friends about how we were looking for some new scents. No one wants to smell like the other 15 guys in the room. That's not how you catch some attention. A lot of guys only wear what's popular anyway (ie Diddy's Sean John that I DID notice that he ripped off from Creed too, lol) so I'm definitely gonna give 1 of these a try.
